Making Creamy Tuscan Garlic Tortellini

Creamy Tuscan Garlic Tortellini

As you know I am a beast in the kitchen! I love trying new recipes and making them my own. You can also see I’m super busy because I made this meal December 1st! None the less it was amazing and I will be making it again. Since I cook so much, I’m always looking for more creative things to make. You can follow my Cooking Board on Pinterest to keep up with what I’m inspired by.

Today I’m sharing my Creamy Tuscan Garlic Tortellini escapade.

I Used:

Diced Tomatoes

Spinach (Fresh or Frozen is ok)

Great Northern Beans

Frozen Tortellini

Heavy Cream

Chicken Broth

Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Olive Oil

In a hot skillet I added the butter and olive oil. I then added diced tomatoes and a few of my favorite seasonings (salt, pepper, parsley, Italian) After about 5-8 minutes of simmering I added the Great Northern Beans and chicken broth.

I let everything simmer together for another 5-8 minutes. Next I add the heavy cream and tortellini.

After another 5 minutes I add the spinach and cover the skillet.

Once the spinach looks wilted enough I add a handful of Shredded Parmesan Cheese and stir. Now you are ready to serve your master piece!

I wasn’t in the mood for meat this go round but most pair chicken with this meal. Some have the chicken on the side and others have shredded chicken mixed in the dish. I hope you enjoy this meal, it’s pretty quick and super easy to whip up!
